The Adventures in Veterinary Medicine Online Program is an engaging and fun way for students to spend the week learning more about the veterinary profession. This is your opportunity to dig into veterinary medicine through an exciting program where you'll work virtually with faculty, veterinary students and others who share your passion for animals, health, and science.

  • Explore specialty fields and important topics in veterinary medicine through informative lectures by Tufts faculty, staff, and veterinary students
  • Partner with current veterinary students throughout the program and learn about their unique paths to veterinary school
  • Build your veterinary skills! Practice suturing, learn how to read x-rays, work on a team to solve a challenging medical case, and more!

Eligibility

Ages 15 and up; students who are entering or enrolled in high school or college; adults who may be considering a potential career transition and want to explore the field of veterinary medicine.

Program Dates

The Adventures in Veterinary Medicine Program will be offered virtually in summer 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Choose one of the following sessions:

Session 1: July 12-16, 2021 - FULL
Session 2: July 26-30, 2021
Session 3: August 2-6, 2021

Classes will be held virtually from 12:45 pm to 5:00 pm EDT Monday through Friday. There may be additional virtual group meetings and/or optional virtual social events outside of this timeframe.

Application Fee: There is no application fee for AVM Online.

Tuition: $500.00 per one-week session, due at the time of registration. Tuition payments are non-refundable.
