In concluding the exploratory phase of curriculum redesign, the Office of Academic Affairs and Curriculum Committee scheduled a total of three half-day retreats for faculty to come together and imagine what a redesigned curriculum would look like.

The first curriculum redesign retreat took place on October 26, 2018 and the faculty who attended were asked to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in the current DVM curriculum. Based on their findings, they developed sample curriculum models that would address the identified issues. These models will be provided as a reference that shows how the DVM curriculum could be redesigned when the faculty vote on whether to proceed with curriculum redesign or not.
