Total Students: 2 – Preferably 2nd and 3rd year students but will take 1st year.
“Students will primarily assist with day-to-day ZCAM service functions, such as taking care of hospitalized patients, participating in treatments, helping with appointments, and assisting with procedures. Common companion pet exotic animal problems and husbandry are covered. General introduction to hands-on companion exotic animal care. Selective students typically come on Tuesday afternoons, but are welcome to come whenever their schedule allows (specific scheduling details will be arranged by the ZCAM technician before the start of each semester.) Wear regular hospital attire (receiving clothes). The service runs on an alternating week M-F schedule with Drs. Graham and Richard and students will spend time with both clinicians during the selective period.
