Balancing life and school can get pretty stressful at times. Whether your daily challenges are routine or more urgent, your free Student Assistance Program is a valuable resource you can turn to.
Talk One2One will guide you to solutions that make things less stressful and more manageable for you.
Onsite counseling is available every Tuesday and Wednesday at the newly remodeled Cummings Support Center, conveniently located at 6 Captain William O’Brian Road, next to the Alpha Psi house.
Counseling is provided by licensed social workers:
Megan Campbell, LICSW (Wednesdays 11 am – 7pm)
With over 15 years in clinical and management positions, Megan’s diverse experience includes working with victims of crime, providing crisis intervention and short-term, solution-focused therapy. Megan’s work also includes direct services to individuals and providing customized training on these topics to students and faculty on college campuses. Her combined experiences have prepared her to provide effective interventions to students facing personal problems and to work collaboratively with staff to address challenging educational issues and conflicts.
Robert Lenhardt, LICSW (Tuesdays 12pm–8pm)
An experienced clinician who specializes in on-site workplace crisis response, substance abuse treatment, and a variety of other areas, Robert is also trained through the UMass Medical School Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program.
