First-year students participate in Tufts Veterinary Orientation Program (TVOP), held on the first day of the school year. This program provides valuable information and helps acclimate our newest community members to life at Cummings School.
As an active participant in TVOP, you’ll have an opportunity to network with and get to know faculty, staff, and fellow students, as well as the chance, to learn more about yourself through a fun and casual day of orientation activities. We offer experiential educational and team building exercises to help students become more aware of their strengths and communication styles, as well as explore learning/working in a team. Students find ways to support each other and the importance of being open to differences between themselves and their peers.
Through this program, you’ll be exposed to new “tools” to develop the non-technical skills that are so important for your success during and after you graduate from veterinary school.
